Nominate someone for a NYSOTA Award

NYSOTA members make significant contributions to the profession and NYSOTA.

Therefore, NYSOTA annually recognizes those members who have been nominated by their peers for one of the various awards available to members. Members are encouraged to nominate their colleagues. NYSOTA Award nominations can be submitted to NYSOTA office via postal mail or e-mail at any time by NYSOTA members in good standing. Nominations will only be accepted on the approved "NYSOTA Award Nomination Form". Nominations approved by the NYSOTA Executive Board no later than three months prior to the date of the Annual Business Meeting will be awarded at the upcoming Annual Business Meeting.

Nominations approved by the Executive Board within three months of the upcoming Annual Business Meeting may be deferred to the following year Annual Business Meeting. An e-mail or postcard/letter will be sent to the nominator to advise that the nomination is complete or incomplete and on or about, what date the nomination will be considered by the Executive Board.
